Obtaining a Software Certificate
The procedure for obtaining a User Software Certificate (as a downloadable file) consists in four steps in the following order:
- Getting ready and configuring your browser. To avoid any problems when requesting/downloading the certificate, please consult this section and follow the instructions given.
- Applying for your certificate online. On completion of the application procedure, you will receive an email containing an application code which you will need to give proof of your identity and subsequently, when downloading the certificate.
- Proving your identity at a Registration Office. Once you have completed the previous step and are in possession of your application code, to continue the process, you must provide proof of your identity at one of our Registration Offices.

- Downloading your User Certificate. Once you have given proof of your identity at a Registration Office, you can download and install your certificate from here by using your application code.
RECOMMENDATION: Certificate Backup Copy. After downloading the certificate, all users are recommended to make a backup copy on an independent storage support.
